This plushie was actually created for a challenge. She soon will have ice skates. She's not for sale.

For some reason while I was making her, the line from the Simpsons kept going through my head:
Lisa: Xena can't fly.
Lucy: I told you, I'm not Xena... I'm Lucy Lawless.

I suppose at some later date I'll make a Gabby and a Joxer to keep her company.

The face was a new technique, using fabric eye and mouth shapes and painting them to give a flatter paint surface. Paints are various fabric paint, fabric markers and a sharpie for the black. For shadowing I pulled from my art dolls and used Prismacolor pencils.

Materials: Velour, Felt and Cotton. Metallic puffy paint, Fabric paints, Sharpie, Prismacolor pencils.

Xena is controlled by Universal Studios.

nice to see her finished :D (this is kidAkarma from the UFOBBS ^^; )
i love her costume! very well done :)
She looks great! I love her outfit :)
Absolutely uncanny resemblance to the real life Lucy Lawless who plays Xena. I love how you assembled her together, and it looks like you used gold glitter glue for the armour, that's awesome! ^0^ The details are amazing, incredibly intricate, especially the face! :)

Plushie Commish anyone? ;3
Oh god, that is so great. XD
I used metallic gold puffy paint... that way it had more of a 3-D affect, especially in the breastplate.

Yeah... I was hoping to capture Lucy Lawless.

Thanks!
